What is a fanlisting?
In this case a fanlisting is a place for all the fans of a particular TV show to come together and build a listing of all the people around the world who are also fans. For more information on fanlistings please visit The Fanlistings.org
Why is this site called Healers?
Unlike a lot of shows Born and Bred didn't have a tagline or a common catchphrase to work with and it's theme tune doesn't have a name (or any lyrics) so I had to think a little harder. The centre of the show is the village hospital Ormston Memorial and the main characters are the doctors, however the other characters play as much of a role in making the show what it is so I couldn't call this site 'Ormston Memorial' or something like that. Then the world 'Healers' came to mind. Not only is it an old-fashioned word for a doctor but it can also refer to the show itself. It's such a feelgood drama it 'heals' the viewer in some way, hence the name 'Healers'.
The Layout
This layout uses photographs I took myself while visiting the village of Downham and the station at Damems. These pictures and others can be found in the gallery but if you wish to use these pictures publically I'd appreciate a credit. Thanks. The font used is Bradley Hand ITC.
