Info: This season had so many amazing episodes in it. Nadia is a fantastic character and this is her main season, I love the interaction between her and Weiss, they were such a great couple. With that there's the fact that there's more Weiss, he was chronically underused before. Then Marshall has his action moment where he saves Syd and Hong Kong in 4.13 Tuesday. There's a return to the Rambaldi and I love those storylines, the way they are subtly woven in the episodes so you're not sure what the endgame is until the end and what an ending! The fate of the world hangs in the balance in 4.22 Before the Flood. There's loads of other great episodes as well, Welcome to Liberty Village had a little more Syd/Vaughn than I like but it was quite a funny episode. There's a lot of lines from this season that stick in my head like the "You're both on comms" exchange in 4.21 - Search and Rescue. From 4.03 - The Awful Truth Nadia and Jack's exchange "I've never done anything that lasts this long" "How very sad for you". I could go on and on.

Info: I discovered Alias fairly recently, I watched one episode, and then another, and then another, the cliffhanger endings just hooked me. I just had to keep watching so I got the boxset. My favourite character has got to be Dixon and I hate how Sydney lies to him throughout this season. He's such a standup patriotic guy who deserves to know the truth. Season One is brilliant, what a great opening for a TV Show. There's so many layers in this season (I don't know about later seasons yet), this Rambaldi stuff is frying my brain. That complexity adds such rewatch value it makes it even better. I adopted this fanlisting from Brandon in June 2009 when it had 89 members.

Fanlisting: Alias (Season Two)

Info: Season Two is my favourite season of Alias. There wasn't a dull moment in the whole season, from the opening where bam mother shot daughter, to the end where there's the fight with clone Francie and then Syd wakes up to find two years have gone. In this season the show continues with it's tendancy for cliffhanger endings. Halfway through this season what we were waiting for happened SD-6/The Alliance got taken down and a greater threat replaces it. Sloane engineered the downfall of the Alliance so he could pursue Rambaldi's endgame. He wasn't alone on that quest. Irina plays a game of her own. There are so many reasons to love this season. Marshall gets kidnapped and he's so brave. He must know when he codes Pong rather than echelon that they will kill him but he doesn't want to betray his country. I love Marshall. Then there's Dixon, they were wrong to not tell him. They use the excuse of "you can't choose the life of a double agent for somebody" because they know that that's what he'd choose. He really proves what a good guy he is when he comes to rescue Syd when she was captured in the Firebomb episode, in many ways I think he's a better friend than she deserves. Then there's more Weiss. I was annoyed when he got shot in the first episode as it took him out of the show for half the season but then when he came back he had more of a role than ever. I love Weiss. There's so many good episodes, I just love how the plot unfolds. Events happen and you think it's for one reason then it turns out to be another. It's brilliant and so interesting to watch. The Passage (1)(2) episodes and A Dark Turn are probably my favourite from the season but I also loved The Abduction (Marshall on a mission), The Getaway, Firebomb, you know what I loved the whole season. There wasn't a single weak episode. There was also more Sark in this and I love him despite the fact that he's a bad guy.

For a show in the 80's it tackled very sensitive topics including rape and the issue of feminism.

They have discussed moving in together and at the end of season five Charlie proposed but Amita's answer is unknown, I hope she says yes. I love their relationship, it's done really well there's no breaking up for stupid reasons, it's realistic.

I'd not seen it before and so I had no idea what had happened between House and Stacy before that yet, as soon as I saw them on screen together in the first episode, Acceptance, I knew I had my ship for this show. Stacy has left now but I have faith that she will return because in my view House can't love another. Even if she doesn't return their relationship is special and none will come close to touching it. This fanlisting has it's own domain as it is so special to my heart. I adopted this fanlisting from Buruma in November 2008 when it had 33 members.

Info: I think that this song is sad, the person wants to be loved but feels disconnected, a solider coming back from a war comes to mind for me. They want love but don't know how to find it, or how to give it, how to get what they need at all. It's heartbreaking but at the same time the person is daring to want something and perhaps is even willing to go out and try. They will bear the emotional, and perhaps physical, scars forever and they will need to find somebody who will love them even though they are dead in places from the trauma. Great song.

Everything Jack does is for his daughter, no matter the pain to himself. Jack Bristow is an amazing character and quite possibly my favourite in the Alias universe.

Info: Dixon is awesome, he's patriotic, loyal, a real leader, everything that you'd look for in a CIA agent I suppose. He's more than that though, he was devastated when his wife was killed on Sloane's orders, and he never forgot that but he put his personal issues aside when he had to work with Sloane again without constantly going on about it. Over the seasons he's matured. In the beginning he was dedicated to the CIA (well what he thought was the CIA) and turned Sydney in as a suspected double agent, knowing they would kill her, because he was loyal to the job. This contrasts with breaking the rules to save his children in season three, and to investigate Sloane in season four. Perhaps realising that he'd been lied to for nine years made him see things in a less black and white way. I just love Dixon.

Info: I love Marshall, maybe it's because I'm something of a tech geek myself and I often find I'm explaining something and nobody understands a word I've said. It's more likely though that I just love Marshall because he's Marshall and awesome. He's very brave, resisting torture in A Higher Echelon season two episode, and singlehandedly saved Sydney and Hong Kong in the Tuesday episode of season four. He's just brilliant, a real scene stealer who definitely should have got more airtime.

She leads the team brilliantly as seen in One Hour when Don was unavailable. She looks after the team, her training and position as a profiler making her very observant. Megan had a relationship with Larry, a professor at CalSci. It isn't clear whether that ended when she left the show to pursue her doctorate back east. Megan's my favourite character on Numb3rs and one of my favourite TV characters from everything.

Basically three retired officers, Jack Halford (Bolam), Brian Lane (Armstrong) and Gerry Standing (Waterman) are re-recruited to examine cold cases. Detective Superintendent Sandra Pullam (Redman) is their commanding officer. A very funny show. The real focus is on the character interaction rather than the cases.

Info: In the movies Professor X is played by Patrick Stewart and Magneto is played by Ian McKellen. The scenes between the two of them are so powerful. They are the ones, and the lines spoken in them that really stick in my mind. They are two friends who are clearly still friends, in X3 Magneto mourns Charles' death. He never acted directly against him either. In other meetings he clearly doesn't want to oppose him but their differing beliefs on humanity divide them. It's sad but so believable. For me their relationship is a very big, important part of the movies. The plotlines of which in my view are slightly iffy, their relationship lends credibility to it. Like when they meet at the beginning of X1 "I'm looking for hope" "I will bring you hope old friend. We are the future Charles not them, they no longer matter" and at the end of X1 "And I always be there old friend" it's just so great, I love their relationship.

The characters are great. Charlie and Stella's relationship is good, they're both stubborn but when Stella panicked and didn't think she could open the vault he calmed her down. Lyle is awesome, I love him he's such a geek and very cool. Handsome Rob is well handsome and very smooth like when he bedded that cable girl. There's some comedy moments as well and some great one liners. Just love the movie. I adopted this fanlisting from Carmen in January 2009 when it had 155 members.
