Introduction
Welcome to the official TFL approved fanlisting for the North York Moors Railway. Included on this site is extra content which aims to bring you a visitors (my) perspective of the North York Moors Railway.The NYMR is a preserved railway which mostly operates steam engines but as part of an environment agreement operates vintage diesels for part of the year as well. The backdrop for this impressive twenty four mile long railway is the beautiful North York Moors National Park.
