What is a fanlisting?
In this case a fanlisting is a place for all the fans of a particular place to come together and build a listing of all the people around the world who are also fans. For more information on fanlistings please visit The Fanlistings.org for more information.

Why is this site called Age of Steam?
I nicknamed this site 'Age of Steam' because while the railway does run some diesel engines the majority of trains run on steam and it is the steam which I love. The smell, the sight, the movement. For me the steam engines that work on the railway are as big a part of it as the railway.

The Layout
The layout features some photographs I've taken during my multiple visits to the railway and the font Verdana.
